The final fixtures and schedules of IPL 2010 has been announced. The first match will be held between defending champion Deccan Chargers and the defending looser - Kolkata Knight Riders. The IPL 2010 which is the 3rd season will start on 12th March and end on 25th April, 2009. Four new venues- Nagpur, Vishakapatnam, Ahmedabad and Dharamsala have been added apart from the 8 home venues of the teams. This time no new teams will be added but new players including the former ICL players will be available for auction for IPL 3.
The teams are of IPL 2010 are:Deccan Chargers (DC), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Mumbai Indians (MI), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Delhi Daredevils (DD), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

Final of IPL 2009 - Deccan Chargers Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore
IPL 2009 is going to end today with a new winner. Making everyone astonished, the two teams in the bottom of IPL 2008 rushed to the final of IPL 2009. Rajasthan Royals, the 2008 champions were out early from 2009 and other top teams too couldn't make it to finals.

Deccan Chargers lead by Adam Gilchrist with almost the same team as in 2008 is going be at least the runner-up of 2009. The only change in the team was handling of captaincy to Gilchrist from Laxman. But it was not actually a change as Gilchrist acted as the captain in most matches of 2008 as laxman was unfit. Deccan Chargers started the 2009 season with 4 wins in first four matches but then started loosing. Finally, they qualified with 14 points in 4th place ahead of Kings XI Punjab.
Bangalore on the other hand tried to make big change by buying Kevin Pietersen- the most expensive player in the team. But he proved to be useless and the players of 1st season like Kallis and Kumble proved to be vital. Kumble's Captaincy has too been praised. Jesse Ryder, the other big change in team was also a great flop. Kallis, Dravid and Kumble who were also in fist season helped the team in reaching the finals.

Delhi Daredevils Vs Deccan Chargers live in IPL 2009 Semi-finals
IPL 2009 has now come to its final stages. After the end of long league stage only 3 matches more to go and just 4 teams remaining. The first semi-final of Indian Premier League 2009 is between Delhi Daredevils and Deccan Chargers. Delhi finished 1st in league stage while Deccan qualified as the fourth. Anyway, the-final match is only going to be a decider on which team will reach the finals. Though Delhi has so far been the best IPL team, Gilchrist led Hyderabad's Deccan can win it too and chances are 50/50.

Super over in twenty20 cricket
To broaden the excitement in t20 cricket, the Super overs rule has been introduced. Though test and ODI match can end up in draw, super over prevents twenty20 matches from ending in draw. It has replaced the bowl out rule in which only the bowler had a part to play.
Rules of super over in 20-20 cricket:
1. Each team decides a bowler to bowl and three batsmen to bat during one over named as the super over. The same ball used in the match will be used in super over.
2. The team batting second in the match will bat first in the super over.
3. Team A will score some runs in the first over and team B needs to chase it successfully to win the match. In case, it is unable to chase, team A wins.
3. In case scores are level, the team hitting maximum sixes in the match will win. If its also same, the teams with maximum fours win the match.
4)In case two wickets fell, it is counted as all-out and the total made before loosing the wicket is final.
It has been brought to twenty20 cricket from Standford twenty20. The first international twenty20 in which tie was ended with a super over was New Zealand vs West Indies. In IPL match between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight riders, this rule as implemented after with Rajasthan won Kolkata.

Shahrukh Khan in Indian Premier League - IPL 2009
Though IPL is cricket, no one can deny that king of bollywood, Shahrukh Khan is one of itsmajor attractions . He is the owner of Kolkata Knight riders which was the most profit-gaining team in IPL 2008. Arguably, this was due to Shahrukh's presence in the team.
Though other bollywood stars like Preity Zinta, Juhi Chawla and Shilpa Shetty are owners of different IPL teams, Shahrukh will remain the no.1 bollywood star in IPL. Apart from being shown in Knight Rider's TV ad, he will be seen in the cricket ground in their matches. More than 100,000 fans had arrived to Kolkata last year to see Knight Rider's matches and him in the ground. This time it is in South Africa but his presence in ground will certainly attract more fans in the matches.
Shahrukh Khan and controversies in IPL:
In IPL 2008, Shahrukh was involved in a lot of controversies including his dispute with Sourav Ganguly, also rules of ICC and the one regarding Rabindranath Tagore. In 2009, the multiple captain theory has brought Knight Riders in news before the start of series. Shahrukh was later involved in the controversy after his reactions about Gavaskar's comments on the theory. Later, SRK said he apologized with Gavaskar.

Deccan Chargers in IPL 2009
Indian Premier League team, Deccan Chargers is the Hyderabad based team to be lead by Adam Gilchrist in second season. Despite being favorites in IPL 2008 with players like Gilchrist, Symonds, Afridi and Vaas, Deccan Chargers finished last. Deccan chargers is now with new management and new captain for 2009.
Changes for Deccan Chargers in IPL 2009:
VVS Laxman has been removed as a captain as well an Icon player for the team. Gilchrist will lead the team. It has got new ceo, coach and management. Darren Lehmann is going to be the new coach. New players signed are Edwards and Smith from West Indies and Harris from Australia.
